The friends of Ropers Orchard Garden are a non-political group who have helped with the improvements made to Ropers Orchard Garden by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
The new Chelsea Riverside Map by Henrietta Caledon was commissioned.
An ancient cherry tree died which was planted to celebrate the visit of Gunji Koizumi (1885-1965) who introduced judo to the United Kingdom.
A replacement cherry tree has been planted by Viscount Chelsea for the Queens Platinum jubilee as part of the Queen’s green canopy.
There are future plans to hold an art exhibition to support local talented artists and commission a new Sculpture.
The committee are looking for sponsorship from local residents and businesses in the area.
